The International Union of Muslim Scholars reminds its nation: officials and peoples - that they have a responsibility towards their first cause, Jerusalem as their first qibla, and the profit Muhammad's journey to Al-Aqsa.
In addition, it stresses that every effort must be made to liberate the people as a matter of legitimate, national, patriotic and human duty.
The Union calls for confronting the extreme right-wing government, which killed a number of Palestinians on its first day, destroyed their homes, and raided the house of Al-Aqsa preacher Sheikh Ikrima Sabri.
The Union Adds that anyone who takes over and cooperates with the Zionist occupying extremist killers will suffer dire consequences.
And he affirms that God's true promise is the one that will be fulfilled sooner or later (...Indeed, God's promise is true, but most of them do not know) Yunus-55.
Statement Context:
The Union follows with great sorrow and concern the conditions of the Palestinians under the oppressive occupying governments, especially the extreme right-wing government, which began its actions with killing and demolition without relenting, and even being proud of them, and with imprisonment and desecration of homes, as an occupying force raided the house of the scholar Sheikh Ikrimah Sabri, the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, may God protect him.
As a result of this painful situation, the Union holds the Islamic peoples responsible as well, stressing the following:
- He reminds the Islamic peoples of this great responsibility towards their first cause; Jerusalem, Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and confirms that it is our first qiblah and the profit Muhammad's journey to Al-Aqsa.
- Affirms that the defense of Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa, and Palestine is a legitimate duty, and a national, patriotic, and humanitarian necessity, and that it is honor and dignity to contribute to that.
- The need to confront the extreme right-wing Zionist government, which wants to swallow all of Palestine - if it can - so the legal, nationaland human duty is to stand up to the oppressor.
Therefore, the Union renews its strong condemnation of normalization with or cooperation with the Zionist occupier, or welcoming it in any country.
It is obligatory to stand against them to stop them from their aggression, and to resist until liberation.
The union stresses the necessity of defense and struggle, and that there is nothing left for the nation - especially the Arabs and the Palestinians - except for the path of resisting the occupation and self-defense, because the current government does not recognize anything for the Palestinians, and there is nothing left called peace!!.
No matter how strong the tyranny is or how widespread oppression is, sooner or later the truth will prevail and the liberation of Palestine will come.
