A
\ndelegation from the Malaysia branch of the International Union of Muslim
\nScholars paid a friendly visit to the Office of the Federal Territories Mufti,
\nin a meeting that reflected the spirit of brotherhood and joint cooperation in
\nserving the issues of the Ummah and enhancing religious and scholarly work in
\nMalaysia.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\ndelegation was headed by Mr. Wan Sebki bin Wan Saleh, Mr. Nie Omar Nie Abdul
\nAziz, Dr. Shazali Herman Ahmad Najib, Mr. Abdul Rahman Hakim Muhammad Jalil,
\nMr. Muhammad Shukri bin Ismail, and Dr. Nie Rahim bin Nie Wagis.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

During
\nthe meeting, the letter appointing the Federal Territories Mufti as an advisor
\nto the Malaysia branch of the International Union of Muslim Scholars was
\ndelivered, where His Eminence expressed his thanks and appreciation for this
\ntrust and honor, affirming his appreciation for initiatives aimed at serving
\nsociety and strengthening the role of scholarly and da\u2019wah institutions.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nmeeting also addressed several contemporary intellectual and da\u2019wah issues
\nconcerning Muslims, most notably the application of \u201cFiqh al-Mizan\u201d in da\u2019wah
\nwork, in a way that achieves balance between adherence to the principles of
\nSharia, wisdom in presentation, good management, and consideration of the
\ndiverse Malaysian society.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\ndelegation also presented a proposal to organize the \u201cFiqh al-Mizan Forum,\u201d
\naiming to enhance awareness of a balanced and moderate da\u2019wah methodology based
\non scholarly discipline and intellectual moderation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

A
\nproposal for a \u201cTraining of Trainers (TOT) for Palestine\u201d program was also
\npresented, aiming to prepare active community cadres to enhance awareness of
\nthe Palestinian cause and support community advocacy efforts.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nFederal Territories Mufti\u2019s Office welcomed the initiatives presented by the
\nUnion, affirming its support for programs aimed at enhancing public education
\nand strengthening solidarity with Palestine. It also proposed expanding the
\nscope of cooperation through visits and communication sessions with mufti
\noffices in various Malaysian states, contributing to maximizing the benefit of
\nfuture programs and initiatives.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nmeeting also witnessed an exchange of views on opportunities for strategic
\ncooperation in the fields of academic programs, leadership training, capacity
\nbuilding for preachers and students of knowledge, in addition to strengthening
\nthe role of da\u2019wah institutions in facing contemporary challenges.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nconclusion, the Malaysia branch of the International Union of Muslim Scholars
\nexpressed its deep appreciation to the Federal Territories Mufti\u2019s Office for
\nthe warm reception and spirit of cooperation, affirming its aspiration to
\ncontinue joint work in serving the interests of the Ummah and enhancing
\nsocietal stability.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

It is
\nhoped that this visit will represent an important step toward strengthening
\nrelations between scholarly and da\u2019wah institutions in Malaysia, contributing
\nto building a more aware and united society rooted in values of mercy and
\nmoderation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
