T\u00fcrkiye: 335 Male and Female Quran Memorizers Graduate in Cizre<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

A
\ngraduation ceremony was held in the southeastern Turkish city of Cizre, in
\n\u015e\u0131rnak Province, for 335 male and female students who completed memorizing the
\nHoly Quran through courses organized by the Directorate of Religious Affairs
\nbetween 2023 and 2026.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nceremony took place at the \u201c100th Year\u201d Indoor Sports Hall in the presence of
\nlocal and religious officials, where Quran memorizers who completed their
\nstudies at the Al-Jazari boarding Quran memorization institutes affiliated with
\nthe Cizre Mufti\u2019s Office were honored.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

During
\nthe event, graduation certificates and gifts were distributed to the students
\nin the presence of \u015e\u0131rnak Governor Birol Ekici, Director General of Educational
\nServices at the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs Saide Akbulut, Cizre
\nDistrict Governor Ahmet Vezir Baycar, along with several officials and
\nreligious figures.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In her
\nspeech, Akbulut emphasized that the journey of memorizing the Holy Quran
\nrequires patience, effort, and sacrifice, expressing her happiness at
\nparticipating in what she described as \u201ca source of pride for \u015e\u0131rnak and
\nT\u00fcrkiye.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

For his
\npart, Governor Birol Ekici stressed the importance of raising a generation that
\ncombines Islamic sciences with modern knowledge, calling on the male and female
\nQuran memorizers to continue their educational journey and actively contribute
\nto society and public life.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile,
\nCizre District Governor Ahmet Vezir Baycar highlighted the city\u2019s historical
\nstatus as a center of knowledge and scholarship, recalling the legacy of
\nprominent scholars such as Mulla Ahmad Al-Jazari and Ismail Al-Jazari, and
\naffirming that Cizre continues to graduate generations committed to knowledge
\nand spiritual values.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Cizre
\nMufti S\u00fcleyman Baran also expressed pride in graduating this number of Quran
\nmemorizers, stating that the sounds of takbir and Quran recitation symbolize
\nunity and \u0627\u0644\u062e\u064a\u0631<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> (goodness) in the
\nregion.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nceremony concluded with Quran recitations, supplications, and religious hymns
\nbefore certificates and gifts were presented to the participating students.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
