The preliminary rounds of the
\nlocal Holy Quran competition for boys and girls conclude today, Sunday, in the
\nKosovan capital, Pristina. This marks the first edition of the competition,
\nwhich began on Friday, April 17, and runs until April 19, 2026, with the
\nparticipation of 100 male and female contestants, in a competitive atmosphere
\nreflecting a strong interest among young people in the Holy Quran and its
\nmemorization<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The qualifying rounds were held
\nfrom April 17 to 19, 2026, at the premises of the Faculty of Islamic Studies.
\nThe event is part of ongoing efforts aimed at serving and promoting the Holy
\nQuran globally, strengthening its presence in the hearts of younger
\ngenerations, and consolidating Islamic values<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The competition is organized by
\nthe Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in the Kingdom of Saudi
\nArabia, in cooperation with the Islamic Community of the Republic of Kosovo, as
\npart of efforts to support Quranic programs and expand their reach across
\ndifferent countries<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The contests witnessed notable
\nengagement from male and female participants, aged between 12 and 30, including
\nstudents from Quran memorization circles, Islamic institutes, and schools. The
\ncompetition aimed to discover Quranic talents, develop their memorization and
\nrecitation skills, and refine their Tajweed proficiency<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The competition comprises three
\nmain categories: memorization of ten parts (Juz\u2019), five parts, and two parts of
\nthe Holy Quran, allowing participants of different levels to showcase their
\nabilities in this Quranic gathering<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The event is scheduled to
\nconclude today, Sunday, with the final rounds and closing ceremony in Pristina,
\nattended by official and community figures, reflecting the significance and
\nimportance of this occasion<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The competition comes as part of
\nefforts to serve the Holy Quran and promote it globally, enhance Quranic
\nprograms, strengthen the connection of younger generations with the Book of
