Future Association Holds Its Second Conference in Nouakchott,
\nRenewing Confidence in Sheikh Al-Daddou as President<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The
\nFuture Association for Da’wah, Culture, and Education held its second
\nconference on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott,
\nunder the theme: “And consult them in affairs: Institutional Guidance for
\nEnlightened Da\u2019wah and Leading Culture”. The event witnessed wide
\nparticipation from association members and representatives of its branches and
\ndepartments.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nconference, hosted at the association\u2019s central headquarters, opened with the
\nrecitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from the
\npreparatory committee outlining the context, objectives, and main themes of the
\nconference.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Emphasizing
\nConsultation and the Development of Da\u2019wah Discourse<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Sheikh
\nMohammed El-Hassen Ould Al-Daddou, President of the Association, delivered a
\nkeynote address emphasizing the importance of consultation (shura) in guiding
\ninstitutional work and the need to develop the Da\u2019wah discourse to meet
\ncontemporary challenges. He also stressed the significance of investing in
\nhuman talent and enhancing the association\u2019s presence across various fields.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nopening session witnessed the election of the Conference Management Committee,
\nheaded by Sheikh Ahmed Jeddo Ould Ahmed Bahi, tasked with overseeing the
\nproceedings and sessions of the conference.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Reviewing
\nAchievements and Discussing the Statutes<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

During
\nthe conference, participants discussed several organizational and strategic
\nissues, notably:<\/o:p><\/u><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>The
\nExecutive Report for the Completed Phase, presented by Secretary-General Dr.
\nSheikhna Ould Sidi El-Haj, which reviewed the association\u2019s achievements in
\nDa\u2019wah, cultural, and educational fields over the past period.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>The
\nShura Council Report, presented by Ms. Mariam bint Lisan Al-Din, Vice President
\nof the council, reflecting the oversight and accountability outcomes of the
\nprevious period.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>The
\nDraft Statutes of the Association, with proposals for some amendments and
\nadditions to its articles.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Renewing
\nConfidence and Electing a New Shura Council<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

At the
\nconclusion of the conference, participants renewed their confidence in
\nSecretary-General Dr. Sheikhna Ould Sidi El-Haj, in recognition of his efforts
\nin steering and developing the association\u2019s work. A new Shura Council,
\ncomprising 56 members, was also elected, reflecting the association\u2019s
\ncommitment to expanding participatory decision-making and strengthening
\nconsultation mechanisms.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nholding of this conference aligns with the association\u2019s ongoing efforts to
\nenhance its Da\u2019wah, cultural, and educational presence, and to move towards a
\nmore effective and impactful phase through consolidating institutional work and
\nimproving its mechanisms.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
