International
\ncalls have intensified to organize popular mobilizations in support of the
\nblessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, following the storming of the mosque by a minister in
\nthe Zionist occupation government, amid warnings of measures that could affect
\nMuslims\u2019 rights to perform their religious rituals inside it.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nUK-based organization \u201cFriends of Al-Aqsa\u201d called for a global day of public
\nmobilization on Friday and Saturday to protest the Zionist occupation\u2019s
\nmeasures at Al-Aqsa Mosque, following the storming of the mosque by the
\nNational Security Minister of the occupation government, Itamar Ben-Gvir, on
\nApril 6.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\norganization affirmed that the proposed measures, which the occupation
\ndescribes as \u201corganizing access,\u201d constitute a violation of the sanctity of the
\nmosque, warning that they could lead to restrictions on the number of Muslim
\nworshippers, as well as the regulation of the times and days of their entry.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

It
\npointed out that these measures reflect efforts to impose a new reality inside
\nAl-Aqsa Mosque by expanding the powers of the Zionist occupation authorities in
\nmanaging its affairs, at the expense of the historically established status
\nquo.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\norganization also called for public events and protests to express rejection of
\nthese measures, urging scholars, public figures, and content creators to
\nintensify efforts to highlight what it described as the occupation\u2019s control
\npolicies.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

These
\ncalls come amid rising tensions in Jerusalem, with repeated stormings of
\nAl-Aqsa Mosque by officials of the occupation government and settlers,
\nalongside Palestinian warnings of attempts to change the mosque\u2019s historical
\nand legal status, amid fears of the repercussions on regional stability.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
