Philippines Adopts \u201cHaramain Qur\u2019an Learning Platform\u201d for Quran

The
\nPhilippines has achieved a significant milestone by adopting the \u201cHaramain
\nQur\u2019an Learning Platform\u201d, affiliated with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for
\nQuran education. This makes Sheikh Bukhari Camama the first scholar from the
\nBangsamoro Muslim community in the country to receive this international
\naccreditation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nHaramain Platform is a comprehensive digital system that combines rigorous
\nscientific methodology with modern educational technologies. It offers
\nextensive programs in Quran recitation, Tajweed, and memorization, supervised
\nby a team of specialized instructors. The platform also features an advanced
\nadministrative system to monitor student performance and issue certificates and
\nQuranic licenses, making it a global reference in Quranic education.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Abdul
\nRauf \u201cSami Gambar\u201d Makasua, Chief Minister of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region
\nin Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), emphasized that this achievement represents a
\nsignificant milestone for the Bangsamoro Muslim community, reflecting the
\nregion\u2019s commitment to Islamic knowledge and excellence in Quranic studies.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He noted
\nthat this success demonstrates the ability of Bangsamoro scholars to balance
\nadherence to religious identity with openness to modern educational
\ninitiatives, linking the Muslim community in the Philippines with academic
\ninstitutions across the Islamic world.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nachievement also serves as an inspiration for the youth to deepen their
\nknowledge of the Quran and pursue learning with sincerity and diligence.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Makasua
\nadded that such academic accomplishments contribute to strengthening the
\npresence of Southeast Asian Muslim scholars in international Quranic
\ninstitutions and reflect the continued legacy of traditional Islamic education
\nin the region.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nMuslim population in the Philippines is estimated at around 10 million,
\nprimarily concentrated on the island of Mindanao, where the Bangsamoro
\ncommunity forms the historical and cultural heart of Filipino Muslims. The
\nPhilippines consists of over 7,000 islands, with a population exceeding 110
\nmillion, and its capital is Manila.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
