Israeli forces obstructed worshippers from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque by setting up several military barriers in the occupied city of Jerusalem during the second Friday of Ramadan.<\/p>\n
The forces closed the Qalandiya checkpoint for citizens’ vehicles and prevented those under the age of 55 from crossing. The occupation authorities also erected iron barriers at Bab Al-Amoud, the Street of the Prophets, and Salahuddin Street in an attempt to hinder the arrival of worshippers to the mosque.<\/p>\n
Despite these measures, worshippers continued to flock to Al-Aqsa Mosque from Jerusalem, the West Bank, and 1948 territories to perform the second Friday prayer of Ramadan.
