Doha \u2013
\nThe President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, His Eminence
\nSheikh Prof. Dr. Ali Muhyi al-Din al-Qaradaghi, received this afternoon,
\nSaturday, April 11, at his office at the Union\u2019s headquarters in the Qatari
\ncapital, Doha, a delegation from the Women\u2019s Activities Department of the Qatar
\nBranch, as part of efforts to strengthen institutional communication and
\ndevelop the Union\u2019s da\u2019wah (Islamic outreach) work.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\ndelegation was headed by Dr. Hind Al-Hammadi and included several heads of
\ncommittees within the department, among them Dr. Fatima Azzam, Member of the
\nBoard of Trustees of the International Union of Muslim Scholars.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

During
\nthe meeting, the President of the Union welcomed the delegation, praising the
\nefforts of the Women\u2019s Activities Department and emphasizing the importance of
\nthis role in serving the issues of the Muslim Ummah, particularly matters
\nrelated to the family, which represents a fundamental pillar of societal
\ndevelopment and requires the concerted efforts of both scholarly and da\u2019wah
\nwork.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He also
\nstressed the need to develop the mechanisms of da\u2019wah and scholarly work,
\nadopting a flexible and dynamic approach that keeps pace with rapid changes,
\nthereby enhancing performance efficiency and strengthening the effectiveness of
\ninitiatives, while adhering to the institutional frameworks governing the
\nUnion\u2019s work.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

For her
\npart, the head of the delegation expressed her gratitude and appreciation for
\nthe warm reception, reviewing key aspects of the restructuring of the Women\u2019s
\nActivities Department and its future plans for development, foremost among them
\nthe preparation of a comprehensive annual plan to enhance its presence and
\nimpact.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nmeeting also discussed a number of issues related to activating and developing
\nthe performance of the Women\u2019s Activities Department, during which the
\nPresident of the Union provided a series of guidance and responses aimed at
\nsupporting and advancing the course of work.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nconclusion, the President of the Union called on the members of the department
\nto continue their efforts, wishing them success in carrying out their duties in
\na way that serves the mission of the Union and enhances its impact on society.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
