Doha \u2013
\nHis Eminence Sheikh Prof. Dr. Ali Mohieddin Al-Qaradaghi, President of the
\nUnion, held a meeting yesterday afternoon at the Union headquarters with
\nSecretary-General Dr. Ali Muhammad Al-Sallabi, in the presence of Assistant
\nSecretaries Sheikh Prof. Dr. Fadl Murad and Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al-Hashimi. The
\nmeeting aimed to follow up on institutional developments and address the most
\npressing issues facing the Ummah.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nmeeting reviewed several proposals submitted by committee heads, focusing
\nprimarily on current critical issues, including developments regarding the
\nclosure of Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as the legislation of the death penalty for
\nprisoners by the Israeli entity, and the potential humanitarian and legal
\nrepercussions. Attendees agreed on preparing practical steps to address these
\nmatters.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In this
\ncontext, the upcoming conference sponsored by the Union and in cooperation with
\nvarious Islamic institutions and associations was discussed. The conference,
\norganized by the Jerusalem and Palestine Committee, will be held under the
\ntitle \u201cAl-Aqsa Calls for Help.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nmeeting also addressed several administrative matters as part of efforts to
\nenhance institutional performance and improve operational efficiency within the
\nUnion.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
