Statement:<\/o:p><\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

The
\nInternational Union of Muslim Scholars calls on the Lebanese people in all
\ntheir components not to be drawn into sedition and internal war sought by the
\noccupying Zionist entity.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nUnion is following with deep concern the painful developments in beloved
\nLebanon, marked by killing, destruction, and acts of mass extermination
\nresembling what has taken place in Gaza.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In light
\nof the delicate circumstances and escalating challenges facing Lebanon, the
\nInternational Union of Muslim Scholars expresses its solidarity with beloved
\nLebanon and reaffirms its firm position in supporting Lebanon\u2019s security and
\nstability, its territorial integrity, and the safety of its people in all their
\ncomponents.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

On
\nbehalf of the scholars of the \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0645\u0629<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n(Ummah), we issue a sincere appeal to our people in Lebanon, across all sects
\nand affiliations\u2014Sunni, Shiite, Christian, and others\u2014to fear Allah regarding
\ntheir homeland, and to exercise the utmost caution against sliding into
\ninternal strife or inter-factional conflicts that bring nothing but destruction
\nand devastation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Painful
\npast experiences in Lebanon have proven that internal wars produce no victor,
\nno prevailing or defeated party; rather, all are losers, and the entire nation
\nhas paid the price in terms of its security, stability, economy, and social
\nfabric.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Today\u2019s
\nduty requires prioritizing the voice of wisdom and reason, adhering to national
\nunity, strengthening civil peace, and rejecting all calls for incitement and
\ndivision, regardless of their source or motives.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

We also
\ncall upon the Lebanese state, its leadership and institutions, to fully assume
\ntheir responsibilities in protecting citizens, managing the crisis wisely and
\nefficiently, and mobilizing all available resources to preserve security and
\nstability.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

We
\nemphasize the necessity of action by the Arab, Islamic, and international
\ncommunities to assume their responsibilities in stopping the aggression,
\nensuring the protection of civilians, safeguarding Lebanon\u2019s sovereignty and
\nterritorial integrity, and securing vital facilities such as airports, ports,
\nand border crossings.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

We also
\ncall upon humanitarian and charitable organizations to mobilize their
\nresources, provide urgent relief support to those affected, and stand by the
\nLebanese people in this ordeal.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nconclusion, the current stage requires the highest levels of wisdom and
\nsolidarity, the cessation of political recriminations amid crises, and the
\nunification of official and popular efforts in a way that preserves Lebanon as
\nland, people, and state, safeguards its dignity and stability, and prevents it
\nfrom sliding into further chaos, sedition, and conflict.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

May
\nAllah protect Lebanon and its people from all harm, shield it from trials,
\napparent and hidden, and protect the lands of Muslims from every aggression and
\ninjustice.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

And
\nAllah is the source of success.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
