IUMS Extends Condolences to the Amir of Qatar and the Turkish
\nPresident over the Martyrs of Duty from the Joint Qatari-Turkish Forces<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The
\nInternational Union of Muslim Scholars extended its deepest condolences and
\nsincere sympathies to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the
\nState of Qatar, and His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, President of
\nthe Republic of T\u00fcrkiye, over the victims of the helicopter crash belonging to
\nthe Qatari Armed Forces in the country\u2019s territorial waters, which resulted in
\nthe martyrdom of a number of personnel from the joint Qatari-Turkish forces, in
\naddition to Turkish civilian collaborators.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In an
\nofficial statement issued by its President, His Eminence Prof. Dr. Ali
\nMohiuddin Al-Qaradaghi\u2014on his own behalf and on behalf of the Vice Presidents,
\nthe Board of Trustees, the General Secretariat, and all members of the Union
\nworldwide\u2014the Union affirmed that this tragic incident has caused deep sorrow
\nand grief, recalling with great appreciation the sacrifices of the martyrs who
\nlost their lives while performing their national duty within the framework of
\nthe strong fraternal cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of
\nT\u00fcrkiye.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nUnion expressed its full solidarity with the leaderships and peoples of the two
\nbrotherly countries in this grave tragedy, praising the depth of the fraternal
\nrelations between Qatar and T\u00fcrkiye, as reflected in their ongoing cooperation
\nand coordination across various fields.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nUnion also prayed to Almighty God to bestow His vast mercy upon the martyrs,
\ngrant them a place in His spacious Paradise, inspire their families with
\npatience and solace, and preserve both brotherly nations with lasting security
\nand stability.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nstatement concluded by renewing its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy,
\naffirming its support for the State of Qatar and the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye during
\nthis difficult time.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
