Istanbul,
\nTurkey \u2013 In an atmosphere dominated by brotherhood and cooperation, Dr. Marwan
\nAbu Ras, Head of the Jerusalem and Palestine Committee at the International
\nUnion of Muslim Scholars, visited the Turkish Palestine Support Foundation,
\nwhere he was received by Mr. Othman Nouri Kabakci, the Head of the Foundation,
\nwho welcomed the visit, which comes within the framework of coordinating
\nefforts to support the Palestinian cause amid the current conditions.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

During
\nthe meeting, Dr. Marwan Abu Ras addressed the serious field developments,
\nhighlighting the ongoing restrictions and incursions faced by Al-Aqsa Mosque,
\nas well as its closure which lasted for 40 consecutive days.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He also
\ndiscussed the tragic conditions of prisoners in occupation prisons, warning of
\nthe consequences of what is known as the \u201cPrisoners\u2019 Execution Law,\u201d and
\nreviewed the severe suffering in the besieged Gaza Strip amid the ongoing war
\nof extermination and starvation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Abu
\nRas also referred to the \u201cSteadfastness Fleet,\u201d pointing to what he described
\nas the enemy\u2019s crimes and piracy practices carried out by the occupation
\nagainst free individuals who rose to support their besieged brothers in the
\nGaza Strip.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He made
\nan urgent appeal to the head of the platform and its members to continue
\nintensive efforts to lift the blockade and work on conveying the voice of the
\noppressed to rulers and decision-makers.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

For his
\npart, Mr. Othman Nouri Kabakci confirmed his full response to this appeal,
\nexplaining that the platform will continue its diligent activities aimed at
\nraising community awareness and informing it of the reality of the situation in
\nGaza, while emphasizing their absolute and ongoing support for humanitarian
\nrelief efforts and boycott campaigns.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr.
\nOthman concluded the meeting by reaffirming a firm and principled stance,
\nstating that \u201cliberating people from occupation and aiding those in Gaza is a
\nduty upon every Muslim to the best of his ability.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
