On Saturday,
\nDecember 27, the scientific course organized by the International Union of
\nMuslim Scholars, represented by the Training Committee, concluded under the
\ntitle: \u201cThe Fundamentals of Developing Scholars\u201d. The course was presented by
\nDr. Saad Abdulrahman Al-Kubaisi, a member of the Union, associate professor,
\nmember of international Sharia boards, and advisor to research centers<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The course spanned
\ntwo days, totaling approximately eight hours of training, and saw the
\nparticipation of more than 98 attendees, including professors, preachers, and
\nstudents of Islamic sciences, representing several countries from the Arab and
\nIslamic world, in a notable academic engagement<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

During the course,
\nDr. Al-Kubaisi reviewed over 570 principles of developing scholars. These
\nprinciples aimed to clarify general concepts and frameworks, methodological
\nfoundations, and detailed maps for forming scholars at foundational, academic,
\neducational, pedagogical, and skill-based levels, using concise yet meaningful
\nexpressions. The material served as a reference for students regarding the
\nprinciples of learning and acquisition, and for scholars regarding principles
\nof teaching and formation<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The course lecturer
\nexplained that the principles of developing scholars were divided into five
\nmain groups<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>:<\/o:p><\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Foundational Principles<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Scientific Principles<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Educational Principles<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Pedagogical Principles<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Skill-Based Principles<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Each group comprises
\nseveral thematic packages, with each package containing a number of specific
\nprinciples<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Al-Kubaisi
\nclarified that these five groups represent the essential aspects that should be
\nbuilt into the character of a student of Islamic sciences, noting that<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>:<\/o:p><\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Foundational Principles focus on essential reference
\ntopics required for the student\u2019s understanding, which should precede other
\nprinciples<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Scientific Principles cover the main types of Islamic
\nsciences needed by the student<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Educational Principles address curricula, methods of
\nreception and acquisition, and their components and obstacles<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Pedagogical Principles deal with faith, ethics,
\nbehavior, and ways to nurture the student both verbally and practically<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Skill-Based Principles aim to develop the skills that
\nenhance the student\u2019s mastery, effectiveness, and impact in their environment<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The lecturer pointed
\nout that despite this methodological division into groups and packages, the
\nprinciples are, in essence, interconnected, overlapping, and complementary in
\nthe process of forming a student of Islamic sciences<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

At the conclusion of
\nthe course, an electronic copy of the book \u201cThe Fundamentals of Developing
\nScholars\u201d, authored by Dr. Saad Al-Kubaisi and containing over 500
\nmethodological principles for developing scholars, was sent to all
\nparticipants. Certificates of participation will subsequently be issued to
\nthose who attended and actively engaged throughout the course<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The course received
\nwide acclaim and praise from all participants for its valuable academic
\ncontent, clear explanations, insightful ideas, and distinguished presentation
\nstyle<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This activity is
\npart of the programs of the Training Committee, one of the committees under the
\nInternational Union of Muslim Scholars, chaired by Dr. Salem Al-Sheikhi, member
\nof the Union\u2019s Board of Trustees<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
