On the evening of Saturday, September 20,
\nthe World Union of Muslim Scholars hosted an intellectual seminar at its
\nheadquarters in Doha, titled \u201cThe Role of Women in Building and Protecting the
\nHome\u201d. The event was organized by the Committees of Purification, Islamic
\nEducation, and Family, with the participation of a distinguished group of
\nfemale scholars and experts in women\u2019s and family affairs<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

During the seminar, Dr. Mona Sobhi Jalbi,
\nChairperson of the Global Forum for Thought and Culture and a member of the
\nUnion, emphasized that the family is the final fortress of the nation, from
\nwhich generations capable of driving renaissance and restoring civilizational
\naction emerge<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

She stressed that family-building in Islam
\nis founded on solid values and clear standards, where responsibilities are
\nshared between spouses within a framework of rights and duties, highlighting
\nthe importance of consultation and benevolence to ensure stability and
\ntranquility<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Jalbi also warned of the growing
\nchallenges facing Muslim families in light of the spread of information access
\nand social media networks, as well as the attempts of certain hostile agendas
\nto dismantle values and undermine foundational principles by promoting ideas
\nforeign to natural disposition and religion<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

She concluded by affirming that awareness
\nand the acquisition of family skills are a safeguard for protecting Muslim
\nhomes, calling on scholarly and community institutions to intensify their
\nefforts to fortify the family and raise its consciousness<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In the same context, the Family Committee of
\nthe World Union of Muslim Scholars launched a comprehensive awareness campaign
\nunder the slogan \u201cWe Protect Our Family, and It Protects Us\u201d, aimed at
\nconsolidating Islamic values and safeguarding families from intellectual and
\nlegislative challenges<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The campaign focuses on confronting corrupt
\nlegislation, strengthening family education, promoting marriage and youth
\nsupport, while highlighting the model of the Gazan family. It includes a
\nvariety of events such as seminars and dialogues with participation from a
\ndistinguished group of scholars of the Ummah<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The Committee emphasizes that protecting the
\nfamily is tantamount to protecting the entire nation, urging the public to
\nfollow and engage with the campaign\u2019s activities across various platforms<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
