The Al-Quds and Palestine
\nCommittee of the International Union of Muslim Scholars held its annual Ramadan
\niftar in Istanbul, Turkey, on Friday, 9 Ramadan 1447 AH (27 February), with the
\nparticipation of a distinguished group of scholars, preachers, and experts
\ninterested in Palestinian affairs. The meeting was dedicated to discussing the
\nlatest developments in Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque, the West Bank, and the Gaza
\nStrip.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The session was opened by
\ncommittee chairman MP Dr. Marwan Abu Ras (Abu Aasem), who welcomed the
\nattendees and expressed his appreciation for their participation, emphasizing
\nthe importance of unifying efforts and scholarly cooperation amid the delicate circumstances
\nsurrounding the Palestinian cause.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He reviewed the latest
\ndevelopments related to Al-Aqsa Mosque, the escalation of settlement activities
\nand Judaization efforts in the West Bank, as well as the ongoing conflict in
\nGaza and its severe humanitarian repercussions.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The program included an
\nextensive dialogue session addressing political, field, and humanitarian
\ndevelopments, during which participating scholars shared their perspectives and
\npractical proposals to enhance academic and media engagement with the Palestinian
\nissue and to coordinate initiatives that would strengthen impact and broaden
\ncooperation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The participants stressed the
\nimportance of continued communication and consultation among scholars and
\nrelevant institutions in service of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and in
\nsupport of the resilience of the Palestinian people in all their areas of presence.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the
\nmeeting, it was agreed to establish a permanent communication group comprising
\nthe participating scholars, aiming to enhance coordination, exchange
\nperspectives, and follow up on developments on an ongoing basis, contributing
\nto the development of practical steps in service of the Palestinian cause
\nduring this critical stage.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
