Statement by His
\nEminence, the President of the Union:<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Strong
\nCondemnation of the Crimes of the Occupation and the Violation of the Sanctity
\nof the Dead and Human Dignity<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

We condemn in the strongest
\npossible terms the crimes committed by the occupation army against both the
\nliving and the dead alike. In a systematic manner, it has destroyed cemeteries,
\nexhumed graves, tampered with and desecrated the bodies of martyrs, and stolen
\ndozens of them, in an unprecedented violation of the sanctity of the dead and
\ntheir dignity.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

These crimes have been ongoing
\nfor some time under the pretext of searching for the body of a captured
\nsoldier, amid a complete absence of any Palestinian or international body to
\nhold the perpetrators accountable or to prosecute them for their grave crimes,
\nwhich only encourages further persistence in committing additional serious
\nviolations.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

What is taking place constitutes
\nbrutal massacres and a blatant violation of human dignity, of both the living
\nand the dead, and represents a flagrant breach of all divine laws,
\ninternational laws, and humanitarian conventions that have guaranteed the sanctity
\nof the dead and safeguarded their dignity.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

We call upon Arab and Islamic
\ngovernments, the international and humanitarian community, the United Nations,
\nand the International Criminal Court to assume their legal and moral
\nresponsibilities and to take urgent and necessary measures to stop these crimes
\nand put an end to this genocide and the ongoing violations against humanity and
\nhuman dignity.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

And God is the Ultimate Arbiter
\nof intentions.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
