The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Saturday a number of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank and wounded a young man during clashes in the east Jerusalem town of Izzariya.<\/p>\n
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped a young man after ransacking his home in Jaba town, south of Jenin.<\/p>\n
Two other young men from Jenin were kidnaped by the IOF at the Za’tara checkpoint in southern Nablus.<\/p>\n
In Jenin, the IOF set up a makeshift checkpoint at the main entrance of Zububa village and embarked on intercepting cars for security check.<\/p>\n
The IOF also intensified its presence in and around villages and towns in the south and northeast of Jenin.<\/p>\n
In Bethlehem, the IOF raided a house in Wad Shahin area and kidnaped a 40-year-old citizen called Ziyad Khalif.<\/p>\n
In east Jerusalem, a young man suffered a moderate bullet injury when the IOF fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters during clashes with local youths in Izzariya town.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the IOF raided several homes in Sur Baher village, southeast of Jerusalem, with no reported arrests.<\/p>\n
