The
\nIslamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has called on the Arab and Islamic nations,
\nas well as all free people around the world, to continue and escalate public
\nactivities next Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in protest against the Israeli
\noccupation\u2019s aggression and its crimes of genocide and starvation against the
\nresidents of the Gaza Strip.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In a
\nstatement, the movement urged intensifying popular pressure in various cities
\nand capitals through marches, demonstrations, and sit-ins in front of Israeli,
\nU.S., and other pro-aggression embassies, expressing its high appreciation for
\nthe global mobilization that has exposed the crimes of the \u201cZionist-Nazi\u201d
\noccupation and condemned its war of extermination against unarmed civilians.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Hamas
\nstressed the urgent need to unify efforts to open the crossings, immediately
\ndeliver humanitarian aid, and raise voices loudly against the international
\nsilence and inaction in the face of horrific crimes\u2014killings, bombings, and the
\nstarvation of more than two million besieged Palestinians in the Strip.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Over the
\npast few days, several cities worldwide have witnessed mass protests denouncing
\nthe policy of starvation and siege and opposing ongoing U.S. support for the
\naggression.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nAustralia, one of the largest pro-Palestine demonstrations took place on Sydney
\nHarbour Bridge, with police estimating around 90,000 participants, while
\norganizers reported figures between 200,000 and 300,000. The city of Melbourne
\nalso saw similarly massive protests.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Today,
\nthe Gaza Strip faces one of the worst humanitarian disasters in history, with
\nfamine spreading under a tightened siege imposed by the Israeli occupation for
\nmore than ten months, which intensified after the complete closure of crossings
\non March 2.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This has
\nled to widespread acute malnutrition and the deaths of children and patients
\nfrom hunger, amid the near-total collapse of the healthcare sector.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Since
\nOctober 7, 2023, the war of extermination has claimed the lives and injured
\nmore than 204,000 Palestinians, the vast majority of them women and children.
\nIn addition, over 9,000 people remain missing, while massive destruction has
\ncaused mass displacement and deprived hundreds of families of the most basic
\nnecessities of life.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
