The General Secretariat held its second meeting with the committee chairs via the remote communication platform (Zoom) on Saturday, 14 Muharram 1446H, corresponding to July 20, 2024, from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM Mecca time.
The session, which lasted for an entire hour, was chaired by His Eminence Sheikh Fadl Murad, the Assistant Secretary.
His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Salabi, the General Secretary of the Union, opened the session with a speech that covered the projects agreed upon for each committee, emphasizing the importance of the Islamic civilizational project and the necessity of highlighting it in the public arena.
He also addressed the ongoing conflicts and their impacts on peoples and concepts, emphasizing the necessity for the Union's strategy to target the world of social media to enhance its digital presence.
The committee chairs discussed the implementation path of the plans outlined for their selected projects and presented the achievements made since the previous meetings.
They also shared their vision for the Union's presence on social media and podcasts and exchanged innovative ideas to achieve the goals of the committees and the Union more effectively.
It is worth noting that the meeting highlighted the Union's future direction towards enhancing its digital role and engaging with global developments.
