Erdogan Receives Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, Reaffirms Turkey's Firm Support for the Palestinian Cause
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan hosted Sheikh Dr. Ekrima Sabri, Head of the Higher Islamic Council, preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and member of the Board of Trustees of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, at the Presidential Palace in Ankara. The meeting addressed developments in Al-Aqsa Mosque and ongoing Israeli violations against the Palestinian people.
During the meeting, Sheikh Ekrima Sabri highlighted the escalating Israeli aggression at Al-Aqsa Mosque, warning against attempts to Judaize it and restrict worshippers. He also discussed the difficult conditions faced by Palestinians due to the continuous aggression, emphasizing their steadfastness and commitment to their land, faith, and holy sites, with Al-Aqsa Mosque at the forefront.
President Erdogan praised the resilience of the Palestinian people and Sheikh Sabri's efforts in defending Al-Aqsa Mosque. He reaffirmed Turkey's unwavering support for the just Palestinian cause and its commitment to standing by the Palestinian people in the face of challenges.
