As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 246 on Saturday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.
Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, amid intensive attacks in northern and central Gaza as well as in Rafah.
According to media sources, Israeli warplanes, gunboats and tanks launched, at 11:00 o’clock a.m., intensive attacks on central Gaza, especially on the refugee camps of Bureij, Nuseirat and Maghazi, massacring and injuring dozens of civilians.
Eyewitnesses said that several Israeli tanks were deployed on Salahuddin road in different areas of central Gaza, amid fierce clashes between resistance fighters and Israeli forces.
Armed clashes also broke out between resistance fighters and Israeli forces in Rafah, south of Gaza, as well as in the east of az-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, amid intense Israeli aerial and artillery attacks.
Earlier, five civilians, including a man with his wife and kid, were martyred and 14 others, including eight children, were injured in an Israeli attack at dawn on a house in Gaza City.
More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.
