IUMS had regulate on Sunday evening, November 30, 2014 in Doha; the Capital of Qatar, a symposium to support the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Al-Quds and Palestine in the presence of a number of members of the Board of Trustees of the Union under the title "Al-Aqsa is yelling," where the Union announced a global week in support of Al-Aqsa and Al-Quds, and its date will be the third week of August of each year, the anniversary of burning Al-Aqsa Mosque in 1969.
And threw the scholar Sheikh Al-Qaradawi had presented a speech that urged the scholars to do their part in educating people and taking the Islamic nation rulers and ruled alike to keep the issue of Palestine as the first and key in the life of the nation issue, stressing that Palestine will never die and a generation will come out inevitably, that will achieve the victory, and the Aqsa will be liberated from the brutal restrictions of the Zionist occupation.
Al-Qaradawi warned of the loss case, which is currently experienced by the nation, and work to increase dictatorships, conquer peoples, and the suppression of freedoms, stressing that without the freedom of the Arab and Islamic people the freedom of the sanctities would not be achieved.
Sheikh Qaradawi gave thanks to the State of Qatar Emir, government and people for hosting such events and carrying many pressures because of their position in the support of the right to the many global issues.
Dr. Ali Al-Qura Dagi – the General Secretary of the Union - had announced during his speech on the allocation of the third week of every year as a week for Al-Aqsa and Al-Quds, which coincides with the burning of Al-Aqsa Mosque on August 21, 1969, adding that the issue of Palestine, AL-Quds and Al-Aqsa is in the heart always, but identifying the week annually to spotlight on the case, and hope that next year will come and Palestine is fully liberated, and Al-Qara Daghi stressed that Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa are the standard Muslim power and the strength of their faith, since when the Muslims were strong, the Aqsa was with them and whenever they are weak the Aqsa is lost as it is our situation now, but the victory is coming since it is from Allah Almighty, but we have the duty to setup and work for that victory is achieved, God willing. Al-Qara Daghi directed his thanks and greetings to the cleats in the Aqsa and Quds.
Sheikh Ahmad Al-Khalili also stressed - Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman and the Vice President of International Union of Muslim Scholars - that the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque is the duty of all Muslims, and the preparation for the battle of liberation is a necessity imposed by the fact now, stressing the need to stop the separation that dominated the reality of Muslims today and work to unite the efforts and put their differences aside, so the nation will deserve the victory.
It is worth mentioning that the seminar was presented by Sheikh Ahmed Al-Omari - Chairman of the Quds committee in the Union and a member of the Board of Trustees, and also there were other speakers, they are: Sheikh Nawaf Takrouri - Chairman of the Palestine Scholars Abroad and member of the Board of Trustees of the Union, and Sheikh Mohammed Hassan Dedew - Member of the Board of Trustees of the Union, and Sheikh Gamal Abdel Sattar - member of the Board of Trustees of the Union.
