The Union strongly condemns the mosque bombing in Pakistan, expresses solidarity with the Pakistani people, and calls for combating terrorism and achieving justice

The International Union of Muslim Scholars strongly condemns and denounces the heinous attack and the terrible crime that occurred in a mosque in the Mastung region of Balochistan, Pakistan, last Friday, during the celebration of the Prophet's birthday, resulting in the death of dozens (may Allah have mercy on them).

In the face of this tragedy, we express our full solidarity with Pakistan and its beloved people, offering our deepest condolences and sincerest sympathies to Pakistan and its people. We implore Allah Almighty to grant the victims His abundant mercy and to grant their families patience and solace, as well as a speedy recovery to the wounded.

At the same time, we reaffirm that such odious terrorist acts constitute a blatant violation of human and religious values and a direct threat to the safety and security of people during their religious worship.

We call for intensified global efforts to combat terrorism and extremism in all its forms, and we demand justice and accountability for the criminals behind this heinous crime.
