Signing of Memorandum of Understanding Between the International Union of Muslim Scholars and Musab bin Umair Foundation to Enhance Educational and Religious Cooperation

On the morning of Tuesday, 28th Rajab 1446 AH (January 28, 2025), a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), headquartered in Doha, Qatar, represented by its President, Prof. Dr. Ali Mohieddin Al-Qaradaghi, and the Musab bin Umair Foundation, based in Solo, Indonesia, represented by its Chairman, Mr. Amir Abdul Aziz.

Objectives of the Agreement

The MoU aims to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions in delivering academic and religious programs that integrate a profound understanding of Islamic sciences with the demands of the modern era. The shared goal is to equip students and preachers with the necessary skills and tools to address contemporary challenges in Islamic education and Dawah (Islamic propagation).

Key Areas of Cooperation

The agreement outlines several joint initiatives, including:
Organizing conferences and scholarly seminars on Islamic and religious sciences.
Developing educational programs that align with academic and Islamic standards, tailored to meet student needs.
Enhancing educational infrastructure within the Musab bin Umair Foundation.

Commitment to Islamic Development

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to constructive collaboration between Islamic and scholarly institutions, with the aim of serving the Muslim Ummah and contributing to its progress.
