ISESCO" provides financial support to Palestinian students in Egyptian universities amounting to $200,000

The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), headquartered in Morocco, announced in a statement issued on Wednesday that this support comes within the program to support Palestinian students enrolled in Egyptian universities.

The organization explained that the delivery of financial support to the first group of students began at the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo on Tuesday, where it will be distributed in two stages to benefit 500 male and female students with a total of $200,000.

The organization pointed out that this step comes in response to its vision and strategic orientations in supporting educational and cultural efforts, especially youth support, particularly Palestinian youth and their families.

In its statement, the organization added that this step comes in the context of celebrating the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on November 29 of each year.

This move comes amid ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7, 2023, which have resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of civilian casualties, including children and women, exacerbating the humanitarian situation in the region.
