The International Union of Muslim Scholars expresses its deep concern and strong condemnation of the recent attack launched by the Zionist entity on Yemen and its unarmed people, by bombing the Port of Hodeidah with missiles, resulting in the death of many innocent civilians.
This brutal attack exacerbates the wounds of the Yemenis, who are already suffering from the ravages of war and siege.
Allah Almighty said: "And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned" (Al-Shu'ara: 227). This escalation will lead to regional instability and trigger a new wave of violence and conflicts that will not only affect Yemen but will impact all the peoples of the region.
We vehemently denounce this heinous crime and consider it a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms. We call on the international community to act immediately to stop these aggressive acts and prevent further deterioration of the situation.
At the same time, we reaffirm our full support for any effort and endeavor aimed at stopping the aggression, achieving peace and stability in Gaza, and we urge the international community to pressure the Zionist entity to agree to the proposed deal for prisoner exchange and to cease the war permanently, as war only brings destruction and devastation.
We ask Allah, the Almighty, to have mercy on the martyrs of Yemen and Gaza, to heal the wounded, and to spread peace and justice throughout the world.
Allah Almighty said: "And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided" (Al-Imran: 103).
