Text of the Statement:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.

The International Union of Muslim Scholars follows with deep sorrow and anger the heinous crimes committed by the Zionist killing machine against the defenseless Palestinian people, targeting the elderly, women, children, and youth, demolishing homes, places of worship, and schools, and taking the lives of the honorable martyrs of the Palestinian resistance.

These ongoing assassinations and brutal massacres executed by the Zionist entity represent a new chapter in a series of corruption and devastation, as Allah Almighty stated: "And when he goes away, he strives throughout the land to cause corruption therein and destroy crops and animals. And Allah does not like corruption." (Quran, Al-Baqarah: 205).

The Union mourns these martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of their land and sanctities, and warns that shameful silence in the face of these crimes amounts to indirect complicity in the tragedies faced by this oppressed people.

The Union emphasizes that the courageous Palestinian resistance is not terrorism, as the occupation claims, but rather a legitimate struggle in accordance with all divine scriptures and international laws, defending the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to reclaim their land and liberate their holy sites. Allah Almighty has said: "And do not think that those who have been killed in the cause of Allah are dead; rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision." (Quran, Al-Imran: 169).

Furthermore, the Union asserts that the assassination of leaders does not signify the end; the Palestinian cause will remain alive in the hearts of the Muslim Ummah and the world. It is a matter of faith and identity, and the people of Palestine will continue to hold onto this right until their land is liberated. Allah has promised victory for the truth, and we are certain of its fulfillment, even if it requires sacrifices.

The Union calls upon the Islamic and global communities to support justice and stand with the people of Palestine and Gaza, for they have no supporter except Allah and then you. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "The Muslim is the brother of another Muslim; he does not wrong him or abandon him."

We ask Allah to accept the martyrs among the exalted, to heal the wounded, and to bestow patience and steadfastness upon the people of Gaza. We pray that He guides the resistance's efforts and hastens the downfall of this oppressive occupation, as Allah has stated: "And those who have wronged will know to what [evil] end they will be returned." (Quran, Ash-Shu'ara: 227).

O Allah, strengthen their hearts, make them steadfast and patient, and grant them success in what pleases You.
