Al-Qara Daghi to Headline the First International Forum for Strategic Discussions at Gaziantep University

Gaziantep Islamic Science and Technology University is gearing up to host the First International Forum for Strategic Discussions, under the theme “Seeking Connection and Trust in the Islamic World.” Scheduled to take place on November 21-22 in Gaziantep, Turkey, the event will gather prominent intellectuals and scholars from across the Islamic world.

Sheikh Dr. Ali Mohieddin Al-Qara Daghi, President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, will deliver the keynote address, titled “The Future of Islamic Societies.”

The opening sessions will also feature notable speakers such as Dr. Ali Erbaş, President of Turkey’s Directorate of Religious Affairs, and Wadah Khanfar, Chairman of the Al Sharq Youth Forum, who will discuss “The Future of Civil Society in the Islamic World.”

The forum aims to spotlight major challenges facing the Islamic world, from issues of identity and unity to strategies for fostering cultural and religious cooperation. The agenda includes keynote speeches and panel discussions on pivotal topics such as:
