Distribution
of 1.9 Million Copies of the Holy Quran and Its Translated Meanings in 80
Languages to Departing Pilgrims
A total of 1.9
million copies of the Holy Quran and translations of its meanings have been
distributed to departing pilgrims through air, land, and sea ports, as well as
to personnel participating in the 1447 AH Hajj season, as part of the programs
and services accompanying Hajj.
The gift included
copies of the Holy Quran and translations of its meanings published by the King
Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Madinah and translated into
80 world languages, enabling pilgrims to benefit from the meanings of the Quran
in their native languages.
The Ministry of
Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance carried out the distribution process as
part of its programs aimed at serving the Guests of Allah during the Hajj
season, with the copies delivered to beneficiaries at various departure points.
The King Fahd
Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran continues to produce copies of the
Quran and translations of its meanings in numerous international languages in
accordance with rigorous standards of printing, review, and translation,
contributing to expanding access to the Quran’s content among Muslims around
the world.
The distribution of
these copies comes as part of the programs and services provided during the
Hajj season, supporting the enrichment of pilgrims’ religious and educational
experience following the completion of their rituals.
