The IUMS calls on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to hold an emergency session to address these repeated and infinite insults towards the sanctities of Islam and Muslims.
It also urges Islamic countries to take practical measures against any country that deems it appropriate to insult our sanctities, especially the Holy Quran and the beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Our faith is not complete unless our love for him is greater and more profound than ourselves, our families, and our children. The Union implores them not to be satisfied with condemnation and denunciation, but with actions and behavior. If we do not act for our Quran and our Prophet, then for whom shall we act?
The Union calls on the Islamic nation to stand united by all legitimate means to defend our sanctities, because these insults are, in fact, also directed at our Islamic nation.
The Union sends a warning message that these states and parties that insult the sanctities of a billion-strong nation are indeed committing terrorism, creating hatred, extremism, and terrorism, and threatening international peace because they touch the feelings of billions of Muslims.
The Union warns that repeated insults to the sanctities of Islam and Muslims (the Holy Quran and the Prophet ﷺ) will threaten global security and international peace because these violations touch the feelings of billions of Muslims. Therefore, it calls on the Secretary-General of the United Nations to hold an emergency session of the Security Council to prevent the recurrence of these insults that threaten social and international peace and cooperation between peoples.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is urged to hold an urgent emergency session at the level of heads of state or ministers to discuss the repercussions of these repeated violations.
It is not permissible or acceptable to remain silent about these repeated insults directed towards Islam and Muslims for several years.
