The International Union of Muslim Scholars Rejects the Displacement of Gazans, Declares It Prohibited, Warns Against Imposing Foreign Agendas, and Calls for the Expulsion of the Zionist Occupiers (Statement)
The International Union of Muslim Scholars firmly rejects any attempt to displace the people of Gaza, as it contradicts all true divine laws, international laws, humanitarian principles, and ethical standards.
The Union condemns any attempt to impose any project on the Palestinian people that does not stem from their own will.
It calls on the Islamic Ummah and the free world to unequivocally reject this project and demands the expulsion of the Zionist occupiers.
Statement Text:
The Union follows with deep concern and distress the developments in the world's largest nation, where its president, Trump, is proposing the forced displacement of Gaza's inhabitants to Egypt, Jordan, and other locations. He is also attempting to impose projects that go against the will of the Palestinian people.
In light of these grave developments, the International Union of Muslim Scholars emphasizes the following:
An absolute and categorical rejection of any attempt to displace the people of Gaza or the West Bank, as it violates all true divine laws, international laws, and ethical principles. Such a move would only serve as a reward to the Zionist occupier for its killings, destruction, racism, and brutality, which have exceeded all limits. Instead, the occupier should be expelled and held accountable for its occupation and crimes against humanity.
A comprehensive condemnation of any political or social project imposed on the Palestinian people. They alone have the legitimate and legal right to choose their leadership and governance.
A firm call for the expulsion of the Zionist occupiers from all occupied Palestinian lands, especially from Gaza, Jerusalem, and the West Bank, as this is a religious, legal, national, and humanitarian obligation.
A call upon the Islamic Ummah to reject any project that seeks to displace Palestinians and to actively work toward the removal of the occupiers from Gaza and other occupied lands.
A strong reaffirmation that agreeing to any displacement plan is strictly prohibited by the unanimous consensus of scholars. It is a betrayal of God, His Messenger (peace be upon him), and future generations. Those who approve such plans will be held accountable before God.
