The Secretary-General of the Union receives a delegation from the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative Foundation and the accompanying delegation.

Recently, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Ali Al-Qaradaghi, the Secretary-General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, hosted a delegation from the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative Foundation in his office. The delegation was led by Dr. Saif Ali Al-Hajari, the CEO of the Qatar National CSR Program, along with a group of delegates.

The visiting delegation included Mr. Jacques Sabbagh, the General Manager of the foundation, and Mr. Haitham Hossam El Din, the Executive Director of Strategy.

During the meeting, the two institutions discussed the prospects of cooperation, which encompassed Qatar's initiative to become a deaf-friendly country and the National CSR Program's initiatives. One of these initiatives is the upcoming Qatar CSR Conference and Exhibition, set to take place from May 16-18, 2023, at Qatar University.

The Qatar National CSR Program encourages institutions operating in Qatar to apply the concept of responsible leadership and recognize those institutions that achieve significant successes on the ground. The program also works to establish the concept of disseminating pioneering experiences to promising attempts, which will motivate more institutions to follow in the footsteps of organizations with a strong reputation for applying social responsibility.
