In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Allah, the Almighty, said in Surah Al-Fajr (27-30): "O soul at peace, return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing, and enter among My servants, and enter My Paradise."
With deep sorrow and sadness, we received the news of the passing of the esteemed scholar Sheikh Alama Al-Mulla Yahya Al-Junayri, at the age of 78, after a long battle with illness. Our hearts are filled with contentment and acceptance of the will of Allah.
The deceased, may Allah have mercy on him, was born in 1945. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to preaching and education, and he was a pioneer of Islamic propagation in Eastern Anatolia. He was a teacher, a mentor, and a scholar known for his profound research and meticulous scrutiny. Under his guidance, hundreds of scholars, teachers, academics, and mosque imams were educated and graduated.
The deceased, may Allah have mercy on him, had a long journey in the fields of knowledge, propagation, and jihad. He was known for his moderation, tolerance, and sincerity.
The Islamic nation has lost one of its devoted scholars. We beseech Allah, the Almighty, to forgive him, have mercy on his soul, admit him into the highest level of Paradise, and gather him with the prophets, the righteous, and the excellent companions. We also pray that Allah grants patience and solace to his family and loved ones. Indeed, He is the best Guardian and the best Responder.
To Allah, we belong, and to Him, we shall return.
