The seventh session of the Board of Trustees for the International Union of Muslim Scholars convened in Turkey.
Commencing on the morning of Saturday, August 12th, the seventh session of the Board of Trustees for the International Union of Muslim Scholars was inaugurated at the prestigious headquarters of the Ummat Association – the Turkish branch of the Union.
The esteemed Sheikh Dr. Salem Saqaf Al-Jifri, President of the Union, presided over the session. He was joined by his deputy, the learned Sheikh Dr. Assem Al-Bashir, as well as the distinguished Secretary-General, Sheikh Dr. Ali Al-Qaradaghi. The event was attended by over 17 council members, with additional participants joining remotely through the Zoom video communication platform.
Anticipated to conclude this evening, the council's deliberations will culminate with the recitation of the closing statement, encapsulating the key outcomes and results of the meeting.
