Doha: His Eminence Dr. Ali Al-Qaradaghi, the Secretary-General of the Union, accompanied by Dr. Marwan Abu Ras, the President of the Union's branch in Palestine, visited esteemed Sheikh Abdul Rahman Abdul Jalil Al Abdulghani on Monday, September 4th.
Dr. Ali Al-Qaradaghi expressed profound gratitude to Sheikh Abdul Rahman, his brothers, and their noble family for their generous donation towards building the Al-Abrar Mosque in Khan Yunis, Gaza. He prayed that Allah accepts from them and makes them a source of support for Islam and Muslims.
Dr. Marwan Abu Ras, the President of the Union's branch, conveyed greetings and thanks from the people of Gaza and Al-Abrar Mosque to Sheikh Abdul Rahman and his brothers, expressing their immense appreciation for this generous contribution, reflecting the noble origin and Islamic generosity that Qatar and the family of the late Sheikh Abdul Jalil were known for.
Sheikh Abdul Rahman welcomed the Union delegation, expressing gratitude for the visit and commitment to continued collaboration in serving our community for the pleasure of Allah.
It's worth noting that when the mosque was targeted by the occupying state's aircraft, Sheikh Ali Al-Qaradaghi requested assistance from the family of the late Sheikh Abdul Jalil. They immediately responded and took on the responsibility of building the mosque, transforming it into a prominent landmark in blessed Gaza.
