The Union Issues an Urgent Call to Designate the Upcoming Friday a Day to Support Gaza and Protect Al-Aqsa Mosque from Zionist Aggression
Calling on its nation and the free people of the world to confront, not just through statements.
The International Union of Muslim Scholars
Calls upon the Islamic nation and the free people of the world to stand united in the face of the challenges faced by the dear Palestinian people, especially in light of the current events in the Gaza Strip and the serious assaults on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the West Bank.
Statement Text:
The International Union of Muslim Scholars urges all Muslims to designate the upcoming Friday (December 8, 2023) as a day to support Gaza and protect Al-Aqsa Mosque, through peaceful demonstrations and sit-ins worldwide, as an expression of full solidarity with the brave Palestinian people.
The Union renews its call for Muslims, men and women, and the free people of the world everywhere to stand united against injustice and tyranny, and the genocide that innocent souls are subjected to by the detestable occupation against the noble Palestinian people.
It also strongly condemns and denounces the call by Zionist Jewish organizations for a rally in Jerusalem under the banner of the "March of the Quasim" scheduled for December 7, aimed at demanding full control over Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem, and the removal of Islamic endowments from the Al-Aqsa Mosque precincts, posing a serious threat to Islamic holy sites and the rights of the Palestinian people.
The Union urges Muslims, men and women, and all free people of the world to firmly stand against these dangerous attempts targeting Islamic holy sites and undermining peace and stability in the region. It also calls for continuing demonstrations and sit-ins and increasing pressure on governments to confront the aggressive practices of the occupation, and to protect human rights and moral principles.
