Sheikh Ali Mohiuddin Al-Qaradaghi, President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars and International Personality of the Year 1446H/2024, visited the Islamic Institute of Training (ILIM) in Malaysia last Tuesday evening. He was warmly welcomed by Ms. Nur Safina Zainal, the Director-General of ILIM, along with the institute's senior management team.

During his visit, Sheikh Al-Qaradaghi conducted a session for the senior management team of ILIM, where he listened to the recitation of several noble Hadiths. The session was highlighted by Sheikh Al-Qaradaghi’s profound interpretations, providing participants with a deeper and more precise understanding of the religious and jurisprudential meanings embedded in the Hadiths. The institute benefited greatly from his presence, which included enriching discussions and opportunities for the attendees to ask questions and seek clarifications on various religious and jurisprudential matters.

At the conclusion of the session, Sheikh Al-Qaradaghi granted the Ijazah (authorization) of the "Arba'een Nawawi" (The Forty Nawawi Hadiths) with its chain of transmission (Isnad) traced back to Sheikh Mustafa Al-Qaradaghi, Imam Al-Nawawi, and ultimately to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Following the Hadith session, Sheikh Al-Qaradaghi visited the FALCOM Center for Astronomical Competency Training, affiliated with ILIM. The center comprises five main sections: the Arabic Astronomy Department, the Hijri Calendar Department, the Qibla Direction and Prayer Times Department, the Celestial Objects Department, and the Visual and Audio Media Department.

This visit underscores ILIM’s commitment to shaping noble characters and fostering the development of well-educated, devout, and righteous individuals among its members.
