Mass Protest in Rome Condemns Israeli Aggression Against Palestine

On Saturday, the Italian capital, Rome, witnessed a massive protest attended by around 4,000 people who expressed their opposition to the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. Demonstrators gathered at Vittorio Emanuele Square, waving Palestinian flags and holding signs denouncing the Israeli massacres in Gaza.

Participants voiced their solidarity with the Palestinian people, condemning the continuous Israeli attacks on Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon. They raised slogans calling for freedom for Palestine and an end to what they described as genocide, labeling Israel as a "criminal and terrorist state."

The protesters also criticized the stance of the Italian government led by Giorgia Meloni, arguing that its position amounts to complicity in Israel's crimes against Palestinians.

In related news, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that the death toll in Gaza has risen to 41,431, with the majority being women and children, since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7. The number of injuries has also increased to 95,818, while thousands of victims remain trapped under the rubble.

The Ministry confirmed that Israeli forces had committed three new massacres against families in Gaza in the past 24 hours, with 40 bodies and 58 injuries reported at hospitals. They noted that the current conditions hinder emergency and civil defense teams from reaching many bodies trapped beneath the debris.
