Sheikh Ali Qaradaghi: The Martyrdom of Sinwar is an Intercession for the People of Gaza and a Warning to the Oppressors... Resistance is the Voice of Truth and Dignity That Cannot Be Broken
On Sunday, October 20, 2024, in Istanbul, Dr. Ali Qaradaghi, President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, offered his condolences and congratulations to the leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" following the martyrdom of the heroic leader Yahya Sinwar, praying for Allah to envelop him in mercy and grant him a place in His vast paradise.
This condolence came after Hamas officially announced on Friday the martyrdom of Sinwar during a confrontation with the occupation army in the Al-Sultan neighborhood of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
In his speech, Qaradaghi stated: "We ask Allah to make his pure blood an intercession for us and the people of Gaza, to hasten victory for our brothers, and to bring a curse upon all those who shed this pure blood."
He added: "The pain is one, the cause is one, and the enemy is one," emphasizing that what is happening in Gaza and Lebanon is a wound in the heart of every Muslim, and it is the duty of the Ummah to unite in confronting this brutal aggression that does not differentiate between young and old.
Qaradaghi warned that "oppression is darkness in this life and the Hereafter," considering the current situation a betrayal of humanity and a denial of the teachings of the Merciful. He called on the Islamic Ummah to awaken and unite against oppression and aggression.
He concluded by stating: "The resistance in Gaza is a symbol of dignity and honor, and the
voice of truth that will remain heard despite all hardships."
