Qaradaghi and Gormaz, Accompanied by a Group of Scholars, Visit the Tombs of Imam Al-Tirmidhi and Hakim Al-Tirmidhi, Reflecting on Their Legacy in Uzbekistan
On Thursday, October 17, 2024, Dr. Ali Qaradaghi, President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, along with his deputy, Sheikh Muhammad Gormaz, the Mufti of Uzbekistan, Sheikh Nuriddin Khalq Nazar, and several scholars participating in the "Heritage of Imam Al-Tirmidhi" conference, made a historic visit to the tombs of Imam Al-Tirmidhi and Hakim Al-Tirmidhi.
During the visit, Sheikh Muhammad Gormaz recited the Quran with a beautiful and moving recitation at the tombs, while Sheikh Ali Qaradaghi prayed for the support of the people of Gaza amidst the difficult circumstances they are enduring. These poignant moments resonated with the attendees, who joined in prayers for the oppressed.
The participating scholars emphasized the importance of the efforts being made to study the legacy of Hakim Al-Tirmidhi, noting that these studies have seen significant progress in recent years, thanks to the International Center for Al-Tirmidhi Research.
More than ten works from the heritage of Imam Al-Tirmidhi have been translated into Uzbek, contributing to the dissemination of his thought and deepening the knowledge of new generations of scholars and students of knowledge.
