Next December: The International Union of Muslim Scholars Announces the First Training Course for Imams in Istanbul
The International Union of Muslim Scholars invites imams and preachers to attend and participate in the first training course, to be held in Istanbul, Turkey, from December 9 to 12, 2024.
The course aims to enhance the role of imams and preachers, guiding them toward having a strong, positive impact in addressing the growing challenges in the field of Islamic preaching. Additionally, it seeks to prepare imams and preachers to adapt to contemporary changes and to strengthen their role in conveying Islam’s message and uniting the Ummah.
The program will feature a series of valuable lectures delivered by distinguished scholars, including:
Prof. Dr. Ali Muhyiddin Al-Qaradaghi, President of the Union: “The Jurisprudence of Balance and Its Role in Guiding the Preacher’s Message”
Dr. Ali Muhammad Al-Sallabi, Secretary General of the Union: “The Role of Imams and Preachers in the Civilizational Project”
Dr. Wanis Al-Mabrouk, Assistant Secretary General: “The Craft of Fatwa and Its Role in the Imam’s Mission”
Dr. Abdul Wahhab Akinji, Member of the Union’s Board of Trustees: “Purification and Its Role in Uniting the Ummah, Preaching, and Building Hope”
Dr. Mustafa Makhdoom, Union Member: “Building and Developing the Jurisprudential Aptitude of the Imam”
