In a significant step toward addressing family-related issues tied to sustainable development, the Family Committee of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) invites the public to attend its global conference titled "The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Its Implications for Families." The event will take place on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the headquarters of the Union of Turkish Scholars (UMAD) in Esenyurt, Istanbul, Turkey.

This conference aims to bring together scholars, experts, and intellectuals from across the Islamic world to discuss the pressing challenges threatening family stability amid global developments.


Conference Highlights

The conference will begin with an opening session, featuring a Quran recitation and a welcoming speech by Dr. Kamilia Helmi Toulon, Chair of the Family Committee, introducing the committee and outlining the conference's objectives.
