As Part of Jerusalem Week Activities, the International Union of Muslim Scholars Organizes a Conference: "From Al-Aqsa Flood to Its Liberation"

As part of the fifth edition of Jerusalem Week, themed "Jerusalem and Gaza: The Nation's Trust," and in commemoration of Isra and Mi’raj and the Salahuddin Liberation of Al-Quds, the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) is hosting a conference via Zoom with participation from a distinguished group of scholars, leaders, and thinkers from the Islamic world.

Conference Details:

  • Date: Monday, 27th Rajab 1446 AH – January 27, 2025 CE
  • Time: 6:00 PM (Mecca Time)
  • Venue: Online (via Zoom)

Conference Focus:

The conference will highlight the significance of the Isra and Mi’raj commemoration and shed light on the Islamic and historical importance of Al-Aqsa Mosque. It will also connect this profound event to the current Palestinian reality, focusing on the "Al-Aqsa Flood" initiative to raise awareness about the issue of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque and to support their resilience.

Jerusalem Week Activities:

The IUMS has announced the launch of the fifth edition of "Jerusalem Week," running until January 30, 2025, to support Gaza, Jerusalem, and the Palestinian cause.

The Union calls for:

  • Increasing awareness of the cause through Friday sermons and multilingual media publications.
  • Organizing both physical and virtual events.
  • Supporting the steadfastness of Jerusalemites and providing humanitarian aid to Gaza.

The IUMS concluded its announcement by emphasizing the importance of Islamic solidarity to confront challenges and support the Palestinian cause.
