As part of the commemoration of the Isra and Mi'raj and in participation in the Global Jerusalem Week activities, Dr. Marwan Abu Ras (Abu Asim), Chairman of the Jerusalem and Palestine Committee at the International Union of Muslim Scholars, visited Konya, Turkey.
Dr. Abu Ras took part in several events aimed at shedding light on the latest developments in the Palestinian cause, particularly regarding Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Gaza Strip.
One of the highlights of his visit was an interview on KONTV, the most-watched channel in the Anatolia region, where discussions focused on the latest developments in Palestine and the importance of strengthening support for the cause.
Additionally, Dr. Abu Ras held an important meeting with the Anadolu Media Group, where he was received by several officials and staff members, including Mr. Ahmed Ozar, Chairman of the Group.
During the meeting, Dr. Abu Ras expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the media group's distinguished role in supporting the Palestinian cause and highlighting its ongoing developments.
This visit is part of ongoing efforts to enhance global awareness of the Palestinian issue and to support the resilience of the Palestinian people, with a special emphasis on the centrality of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque in the hearts of Muslims worldwide.
