Sheikh Ali Al-Qaradaghi, the Secretary-General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, presented his encyclopedia "Economic Portfolio" as a gift during his visit to the council of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ansari, who was known as the "servant of knowledge and scholars".

He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ansari and called on Allah to reward him with the best reward for what he had done for Muslims.
Sheikh Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Ansari, the Dean of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Qatar University, and several of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ansari's sons and grandchildren received the gift. Sheikh Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Ansari thanked Sheikh Ali Al-Qaradaghi for his kind visit and the valuable gift he presented to the library of his late father.
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ansari - may Allah have mercy on him - is one of the most prominent scholars and preachers in the Islamic world and was known as the "servant of knowledge" due to his significant efforts in serving and spreading knowledge, as well as printing and distributing Islamic books around the world. He also developed the Qatari calendar and oversaw its issuance for nearly 30 years.
