Kuwait: Charity Association Celebrates Graduation of 518 Quran Memorization Students in 2024
Sheikh Jazza Al-Sweileh, General Supervisor of the Quran and Sunnah Affairs Department at the Al-Najat Charity Association's "Wartel" initiative, announced the graduation of 518 male and female Quran memorization students over the past year. He emphasized that this achievement is a blessed outcome of the Quranic classes organized by the department.
In a press statement, Al-Sweileh revealed that 419 Quranic sessions were held throughout the year, with a total participation of 6,658 students.
He highlighted the diversity of these sessions, which included Kitab sessions, model sessions, proficiency sessions, as well as morning classes, Yawm Al-Himmah (Day of Determination), Al-Isnad, and the Naafi Recitation Circle dedicated to women. These efforts contributed to the graduation of 78 female Quran memorizers.
Al-Sweileh underscored that the "Wartel" department comprises a distinguished group of highly skilled and experienced Quran teachers, both male and female. He stressed the department's ongoing commitment to developing its staff by offering specialized training courses to enhance their performance and align with the latest advancements in technology and the digital field.
