Addis Ababa: The Union Organizes a Scholarly Course Titled: "The Map of Jurisprudential Reasoning" Led by Professor Fadhel Murad

The International Union of Muslim Scholars, in collaboration with the Kasema Islamic Foundation in Ethiopia and under the sponsorship of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Ethiopia, organized a distinguished scholarly course on Wednesday, 1st Rajab 1446 AH (corresponding to 1st January 2025) under the title: “The Map of Jurisprudential Reasoning: Foundation and Application.”

The lecture was delivered by Professor Fadhel Murad, Assistant Secretary-General of the Union, in the presence of the President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Addis Ababa, Sheikh Sultan Aman, and the Council’s Secretary-General, Sheikh Idris Bashir.

The course targeted an elite group of scholars, preachers, and prominent imams, attracting an audience of approximately 80 participants, including imams and preachers from major mosques in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.

The lecture focused on enhancing and grounding jurisprudential understanding in a manner suitable for practical application, as part of the Union’s efforts to develop scholarly and missionary capacities within Islamic communities.
