The President of the IUMS, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, stressed on the importance for the Arab and Islamic people to remember, that "the first issue for the nation is Palestine and Al-Quds."
Qaradawi said, on Sunday evening, in several Tweets via his official page on micro-blogging site "Twitter": "the Arab and Islamic people should not forget although they are in the midst of battles to gain their freedom and dignity, that the first issue for the nation is Palestine and Jerusalem."
The head of the Union, in another tweet, stressed that "Israeli attempt of burning Al-Aqsa mosque were not only the beginning of a malicious scheme to destroy it," stressing that "it will not happen (the destruction) as long as we have vein that beats."
The most prominent Muslim scholars in this day and age, explained that "rights are not donated, but extracted ... What was taken by force can only be restored by force ... innate fact, logical and legitimate; and we should not argue about it."
Today is the 47th anniversary of the criminal burning of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Jewish Australian Michael Dennis, on the date August 21, 1969, which led to the great devastation and destruction in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
